1. NorVal Electric Cooperative will rebate $1,500.00 to any member who installs a new, or replaces their present heating system, excepting existing ground source heat pump, with a UL approved ground source heat pump system. Members replacing an existing ground source heat pump with a new ground source heat pump will be rebated $750.00. To qualify, the systems must be the primary source of heating. The system must be operational and a signed statement from the installing contractor or vendor will be required by the Cooperative before the rebate is made.
  2. NorVal Electric Cooperative will rebate $150 to any member who installs a new electric water heater or will rebate $250 to any member who replaces their existing non-electric water heating system with an electric water heater.  A signed statement from the installer or a vendor receipt will be required before the rebate is made.  The Cooperative may also request to inspect the installation.

All rebates will be applied to the member's electric account.
